After purchasing a domain and hosting services, renewal of the hosting domain is often not available. It could be because your domain and hosting are not connected. This is usually true for new services.
Domains and hosting complement each other. In other words, you can’t have hosting without a domain, just like a domain without hosting is just a name and address. For example, a domain is just an address without a home address (web page, website). You can easily connect domain with hosting by following the steps below.
Both Domain and Hosting are purchased from same company
First of all if you have purchased Domain and Hosting together from odexp and domain company then you will not need anything because if these two services are purchased together from odexp they are connected by default.
If it is necessary to add a domain taken from a different company while taking hosting
When purchasing hosting, if it is purchased with another domain, then the domain will be added as the primary domain of hosting and will be connected to hosting. Next you need to change the nameservers.
For this first login to odexp. Or login to the account where your domain is.
Click on Domains from Dashboard or click on Domains from My Domains on the right hand side.
Then from the list of all the domains you have purchased in front of you, click on the three dots icon on the right side of the domain that you want to connect with the hosting and click on Manage Nameservers.
After selecting the required Nameserver, click the Save Changes button below.
You will see a confirmation message that your domain’s nameserver change is successful. Now you please wait with time. It may take up to 24 hours for the nameserver to be fully updated.
Domain and Hosting purchased separately from the same or different companies
If the domain and hosting were purchased from ODEXP at a different time, or if the two services were purchased from two different companies, they can be combined by changing the name servers. You can add name servers as shown earlier.
